There were "no charming places to stay in Old Montreal" just a few years ago. However, over the last few years, that's changed, and these days, some of the most appealing hotels in Montreal are in the heart of the Old Town.

You have museums such as the Fonderie Darling which is world-renowned as an art museum. There is the Montreal Botanical Gardens and the Biodome which are home to numerous plants and animals. The Zoo ecomuseum is phenomenal for kids of any age and the Parc Safari with almost a thousand animals.
